Sing a Song
Make New Friends (Scouts song)
Make new friends,
but keep the old.
One is silver,
the other is gold.
A circle is round,
it has no end.
That's how long,
I will be your friend.

Try This
Today’s colors are silver and gold.
For older children, have them count a small handful of coins. They can make rubbings of the coins by placing paper over the coins and rubbing a crayon over them. Coins are a choking hazard for children under 4. For younger children, you can talk about silver stars and sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
